We offer two different workshops specifically designed for kids aged between 4 -11. Perfect for kid’s parties or for school! Our workshops can be conducted in person, or online through Zoom.
For schools, we recommend splitting children by year group or by Key Stage to ensure younger children aren’t left behind!
Creating a Character Workshop
Approximately 1 hour
Every story needs good characters, imagine Hansel without Gretel, The Twits without Mrs Twit, Frozen without Elsa!
Join us in our Creating a Character Workshop, and discover how to create all kinds of wacky characters, using just your imagination.
We’ll be having fun and learning the basics of improv through music, games and confidence-boosting silliness. You’ll learn how to make a character using tools like facial expression, movement, and voice.
Telling a Story Workshop
Approximately 1 hour
Calling all budding storytellers—we’ve got the workshop for you! Perfect for kids who love to make up stories and want to learn the basics of improvisation!
With lots of fun games, you’ll build your own stories by using your creativity, listening skills, and by working together. You’ll learn how saying, ‘yes, and‘ to whatever is offered helps a story to grow and is the foundation of all improvisation!
For workshops in person, we would have to work together to ensure a safe environment for the children, as well as the workshop leaders. All we would need is a safe space that adheres to COVID guidelines!
